On the heels of the Decemberists new album release, The King is Dead, Francesco and I were lucky enough to grab 10th row tickets to their show at the Beacon last night– added after the original two night performance sold out. They put on a great show, playing songs off their new album, and pulling out some oldies, including Michele’s favorite ‘We Both Go Down Together.’ Wye Oak opened the night and set the stage for a warm, down to earth performance. What a great way to spend a chilly night.
